A memorial page in progress for my lad :)
I adopted Bash back in June 2021. He was approx 8 years old at the time. From the start he was confident, curious, social, and loving. . There are many moments I hold dear from the year and a bit he was with me, but this list really stands out:
- We had to plonk him in the shower immediately after coming home, and afterwards it was like it never happened! He just continued to explore the house.
- The morning after adoption, he came and lay on me, all streteched out l-o-n-g. This is where the claws-out-face-squishing begins.
- He'd follow me around, up to the neighbours, my mam's, the park - once he ran into a new neighbour's house and went exploring their living room... great first impression(!)
- He was not adverse to eating vaseline and mealworms
- Was not adverse to eating vaseline and mealworms. Once kept stealing an eating parts of a melon I had, only to never eat melon again
- He was quite the chatterbox as time went on! At first he was veeery quiet, and then became a little machine of meows and mrrps
- For a long time he wasn't a lapcat (apart from when you were in bed in the morning/evening), but eventually became quite the cuddlebug!
- Hung out with the other black and white cats on the street... they all looked like clones from a distance
